ZBrush fans now have something new to get excited about, as Pixologic, the company behind the software, has announced a new partnership with Sculpteo.

It’s a user-friendly software that doesn’t require any CAD skills and offers a lot of design freedom, letting users sculpt, texture and paint using a series of digital brushes. Rather than using CAD, ZBrush appeals more to traditional artists by letting users “sculpt” using 3D pixels, or pixols. I have designed this course for intermediate 3d sculpting students, who want to learn about the 3d printing process while creating a complete character from scratch Once everything is setup i will show you the whole 3d printing process from setup to final print. We will pose our character and get her ready for the 3D printing process. After that in the next chapters we will explore the creation of Armor, cloth, hair and all the relevant details. In the first chapter we will generate the base mesh for our character while learning about anatomy, proportions and scale.
